(1) The full stepped chicken cage is 2~3 layers, and its advantages are: the open area of each layer cage is large, the ventilation is good, and the light is uniform; The manure removal operation is relatively simple; The structure is relatively simple and easy to maintain; It is convenient for manual operation when the machine breaks down or when there is a power failure. The disadvantage is that the stocking density is low.
(2) Semi-stepped chicken cage In order to further improve the feeding density, on the basis of the full stepped cage, the upper and lower layers are partially overlapped to form a half-stepped chicken cage. The feeding density of the house is higher than that of the whole ladder, which can generally be increased by about 30%, but it is lower than that of the cascading type. Compared with the full-step chicken cage, the ventilation effect is worse due to the obstruction of the manure baffle, but the operation is more convenient and it is easy to observe the state of the flock.
(3) Stacked chicken cage The upper and lower layers of the semi-stepped chicken cage are completely overlapped to form a stacked chicken cage, and there is a conveyor belt between the layers to remove the chicken manure. Its advantages are: high feeding density, greatly reduced chicken farm floor area, improve the production efficiency of breeders; However, the requirements for the construction of chicken houses, ventilation equipment and manure removal equipment are high.
(4) Breeder cages There are single-layer chicken cages and artificial insemination breeder cages. Different from the general chicken cage, in order to ensure the normal mating or artificial insemination of male and female hens, it should be noted that the size of the single cage and the diameter of the steel wire of the cage mesh should adapt to the characteristics of the large weight of the breeder; Generally, only 2 hens are raised in each single cage; The cage door structure should be convenient for catching chickens for artificial insemination.
(5) Breeding chicken cage In order to improve the survival rate and uniformity of finishing chickens, increase the density of housing feeding and facilitate management, breeding chicken cages are widely used. Generally, the chicken cage is 3~4 layers and 6~8 single cages.
(6) brooding into a one-stage chicken cage In the area where the laying hens are raised in two sections, the chicken cage is widely used. The characteristic of this chicken cage is that the chickens can be raised from 1 day old to before laying eggs (about 100 days old), reducing the stress and labor intensity of the chickens from the group. The coop has three layers, and only the middle layer is used in the chick stage, which gradually disperses to the upper and lower layers as the chickens grow.
